Prayer

A fluid, complex, dichotomy of expression and symbiotic harmony in which we communicate with God.

It's not about the "what" or "how," it's about the "why."

There are multitudes of definitions and a million ways to pray. It's not as much about "what" prayer is or "how" it's done, as it is about "why" we do it. We pray because we were created to. We pray because it helps us and helps others. We pray because of our great need. We pray because it's the one thing, having lost all else that we can never lose. Our heart's compass has a true north set on pray. Prayer guides us to God and God guides our way. Our thoughts are a prayer. Our hopes and dreams are a prayer. Our service is a prayer. Our tears are a prayer and our joyful thanksgiving is a prayer. When our hearts are turned to God, our very lives become a prayer.
