JOURNEY'S
For the next several months we are going to meet every other Monday night and hear someone's life story in our community (their JOURNEY). We have all been through tests and trials that we can use to build up and strengthen each other if we share how we got through it. We meet people every day but we rarely get to KNOW what is below the surface that made that person who they are.
So instead of a bible study, we are going to dive into our testimonies and see how God is faithful over and over in the lives of people in our community... Last week one of the verses the speaker shared was: 2 Cor 1:3-5 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
The goal is to reach out to our friends and neighbors and build stronger relationships. Life is really busy and we hardly ever see each other but this type of event is a fun way to really get to know our neighbors!
